What is a Digital Signature Certificate?

A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is a cryptographic credential issued by a licensed Certifying Authority to help verify the identity of its holder and protect the integrity of digitally signed records. Class 3 DSCs are used for certain government filings, e-tenders and other high-assurance transactions. Whether a DSC is required, which certificate type is suitable and which signatories need one depends on the form, portal, applicant role and transaction. A valid certificate may be accepted across multiple portals, but the certificate type and portal configuration must meet each portal’s requirements.

Class 3 Signing DSC

The standard certificate for MCA, GST, TDS and Income Tax portal authentication.

How the process works

  1. 1

    Choose class & purpose

Choose the certificate type and validity period based on the intended portal, filing role and any tender-specific requirements. Available options depend on the issuing Certifying Authority.

  2. 2

    Application & payment

We fill the CA application form, upload documents and coordinate payment of the certificate fee.

  3. 3

    Aadhaar eKYC / video verification

Complete the identity-verification route offered by the Certifying Authority; the steps and time required vary by applicant and verification method.

  4. 4

    Certifying Authority verification

The Certifying Authority verifies identity and supporting documents. Inconsistencies may require clarification and can delay issuance.

  5. 5

    Issuance & token loading

Certificate download link arrives by email; we install it onto the USB crypto token.

  6. 6

    Delivery & test signing

Loaded token delivered anywhere in India, root certificates configured, trial authentication done on GST/MCA before handover.

Documents required
